Election?? No thanks!

Yeah, that's right! I have decided that I don't want to vote in the upcoming presidential election. Mainly because I don't like Bush and I don't like Kerry. I think they are both corrupted people with their priorities all messed up. No, I think they are corrupted people with America's priorities all messed up. If Bush is re-elected, we'll have a Christian man running a country that fights, loves their money, and has crappy schools. If Kerry is elected, we'll have a crazy man running a country that fights, loves other peoples money, and has adequate schools that promote sex by handing out condoms and the morning after pill without parental consent. Hmmm.. How will I choose?

I just hate politics. I don't hate many things, but politics is one thing that I just can't stand!! I understand, I guess, that without it we would not be able to live in a nation that is as well-off as we are, but I don't understand why we have to be so well-off. Granted, I will be the 1st to tell you that I like money. I'm a spender not a saver, I'm a buyer, not a seller. BUT I'm also a spoiled brat, so Im not a good example :o)

Here's my idea. You know how there are all these movie stars that are making like 12+ million dollars per flick? They all have a net worth of something like 38 quabillion, but they are famous so they will more than likely die early of drug overdose, alcohol, or vicious murder, and never be able to use all that money, ya know?? So... we take 1/2 of their earnings from each film and give to another country. It doesn't even have to be one of those countries with starving children that we so easily ignore. It can be Scotland.... or Canada.

NO! I have a better idea.... We take 3/4 of all boy band marketing profits from the year 2000-2001. That will total like 8 trillion dollars, and we use some of it to put a down payment on our national debt. Maybe refinance, if possible? And then we raid all the dollar general stores in the Midwest. We buy nice little trinkets, stick them in Shrek 2 goodie bags, and send them, compliments of the Red White and Blue, to every country in the world!!!

That, my friends, is politics!!
