insomnia

So in the middle of this insomnia filled evening I find myself watching MTV's Boiling Point. At first, I thought that this show was pretty funny... but now I just feel really bad for all the people that are having these outrageously annoying things happen to them all for the sake of the enjoyment of teens and adults, like myself, stuck in their MTV filled sleepless lives. At least on Punk'd it's like famous people that probably have done something to Iowa native Ashon Kutcher that makes them deserving of being screwed over. The people on this Boiling point show are just innocent passers-by that get caught in the crossfire of the continual downward spiral we call american existence. I'm a pretty patient person when it comes to other people, but there is NO WAY I would sit around and let some of this stuff happen to me.

It's nearing 2:30 in the morning now, so I am assuming I should go upstairs and get to bed. Although, I did take a mighty nap this afternoon, so Im not too tired as of yet. I woke up this morning, much like every morning of the past few weeks, to watch the back to back dawsons creek episodes on TBS. They are airing the best ones these days. I think it's season 4. When Joey FINALLY falls in love with Pacey and they take their whirlwind romance tour on "True Love", then return to Capeside to live out their ever increasing love story on the shore. It's soo weird how I can remember where I was and what I was doing when I saw all these episodes for the 1st time. It's like what our parents say about the JFK assination. (ANother example of that downward spiral I was talking about earlier!) Usually, I taped them because I had to work at Score! on Wednesday nights (due to the fact that I had some sort of choir function on Monday and Thursday nights) and I would watch them when I got home. Sometimes with Ed, sometimes not. BUT, I would always call Catrina during the commercials, even though it was taped and I could have just fast forwarded :) Ahhh, to relive high school. ha!:)

Ok... it's bedtime. I've officially wasted enough brain power struggling to understand why the middle aged rich adults behind MTV programming think it's OK to seriously invade other people's lives just for possibility of winning 100 bucks.

Have a great weekend! :)
